Overview:
As our SQA/Test leader you will build and lead an international and matrixed team of 5-16 QA/Test engineers that test applications, code, APIs and features of Eagle Eye Network’s flagship devices and Services. As part of our Agile delivery teams your group will be responsible for creating and executing test plans that range from unit and API testing at the lowest level of our technology stack all the way up through manual and automated end-to-end testing of services, devices, applications and features. In this role, you will foster an environment that allows your team members to become the champions for the quality of our offerings, guide them in the design and implementation of test plans, and encourage open communication of potential project risks. You should be at ease working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in which developing and cultivating partnerships with multifunctional teams is key to long term success. A start-up mindset is required as we are always looking for creative ways to take on problems and increase the overall quality of our products.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of increasing responsibility as a Software Quality/Test Manager preferably for a company that builds cloud connected devices and services.
- Experience working in an agile development environment with demonstrated thought leadership on how to ensure quality in a CI/CD pipeline..
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of high level (Java, Python , etc) web centric languages and Low level Firmware and Services (C, Microservices)
- Proven knowledge of modern tools and technologies needed to support large scale distributed systems (Docker, Kubernetes, Virtualization, etc)
- Previously has outfitted and maintained a solutions testing hardware lab geared towards ensuring compatibility and performance with 3rd party hardware and services.
- Understanding and expertise in the security , surveillance or IOT domains is a huge plus.
