A California-based police department wanted to capture and store the conversations that took place in their five interrogation and interview rooms, so they could go review and share the conversation when pertinent. They also wanted cloud-based storage so as to protect their data from theft and tampering, and also to save much needed space, costs, and upkeep that onsite servers necessitate.
The department selected to license Eagle Eye Contract Vault as it met these needs. Department personnel can access the video from anywhere, assign permissions to appropriate parties, and share with external stakeholders when appropriate. The department maintains countless interviews and also chose Eagle Eye given the ability to filter and search for a single interview in only seconds. Eagle Eye completed the install of the system and works in partnership with the department to manage upgrades to the system remotely.
