Managed PoE Update

July 5, 2017 Eagle Eye Networks

PoE-Switch-FI

The Eagle Eye Managed PoE Switches and Bridges can now allow users to remotely power cycle cameras directly from the Eagle Eye Reseller Dashboard. This new feature will save Eagle Eye Resellers time and money by greatly reducing truck rolls.

If you would like to have early access to this on your account, please contact our support team (+1-512-473-0501) and ask for this feature to be enabled.

With this feature users with appropriate permissions can remotely power cycle cameras connected to ports on the Eagle Eye Switches and Bridges. A camera can be power cycled via its settings without needing to know the switch or port number. Eagle Eye Managed Bridges and Switches also appear in the Eagle Eye VMS dashboard for convenient control.
