Job Description:

The Eagle Eye Networks Product Management Team manages the definition, design, and launch of cutting edge, cloud based video surveillance offerings. Our Product Team is responsible for the end-to-end success of new products and features to delight our customers while improving the safety and security of their businesses.

We are significantly investing in product and engineering roles to meet the rapidly growing demand for our products.  You will work closely with Software and Hardware Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Dev Ops to develop the next generation of Eagle Eye’s products. You will also be the expert on our solutions, gather customer feedback and understand customer needs and use cases, and develop a product roadmap that accelerates our growth and impact for our customers

Eagle Eye Networks manufactures a variety of hardware as part of our overall solution offerings.  Our hardware includes video surveillance appliances, network switches, IP cameras and other associated devices.  The ideal candidate will have product management experience in computer hardware and/or network hardware.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage versions, updates, changes, deployments, and launches.
  • Handle internal and external global communications with regards to features, schedules, product capabilities, announcements, and releases.
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for all hardware products.
  • Effectively present product plans, ideas, and designs to key stakeholders for feedback.
  • Develop product pricing strategy based on costs, market factors and competitive information.
  • Develop and communicate product unit forecasts to internal management and key partners.
  • Maintain a product and feature roadmap for designated products, managing prioritization and capacity planning.
  • Become the subject matter expert for designated products and willingly share that knowledge with others.
  • Work with Marketing Communications to develop documentation, sales tools and collateral.
  • Provide technical demonstrations with Sales and deliver product demos to customers, prospects, and internal audiences.
  • Life cycle management of Hardware and Firmware products.
  • Coordinate with international product managers to create a unified product offering and apply local requirements and changes to the global core products.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to clearly communicate and work well in cross-functional teams; excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public.
  • Superior time management skills; proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent project planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for producing high-quality work, focusing on the customer’s needs and established business objectives.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time as required.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or Business required; technical degree is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Proven history of success in product management preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in product management for system level offerings that include hardware, software and service.
  • Experience leading complex projects to successful outcomes.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience in video surveillance and/or physical security is a plus.
