June 11, 2019 Eagle Eye Networks

Eagle Eye Networks has added nine supported Eagle Eye Cameras to Eagle Eye CameraManager, expanding the existing portfolio of indoor and residential oriented cameras. Eagle Eye CameraManager supports a wide range of cameras, which are optimized for a direct camera to cloud communication via a custom firmware on the camera.

The new cameras come with additional benefits and features:

  • Easy setup for the user
  • The camera cannot be reached from the internet and therefore is more secure
  • The connection is fully encrypted to the cloud using TLS 1.2
  • No router configuration is required to set up and maintain the port forward.
  • The camera will not go offline because of local or global IP address changes or when the user is moving the camera to a different location
