Irdeto is the world leader in digital platform security, protecting platforms and applications for video entertainment, video games, connected transport, connected health, and IoT connected industries. With more than 50 years of expertise in security, Irdeto’s software security technology and cyber services protect more than six billion devices and applications for some of the world’s best known and loved brands.

For the new office in Poland, located in the Asco Business Center in Wrocław, the company needed a separate and modern access control system integrated with surveillance cameras.

“We chose Brivo and Eagle Eye Networks because we had previous positive experiences in the U.S. and Canada using them,” says Agnese Zolfanelli, Global Facilities Director at Irdeto. “With advice from our IT department, we decided to implement a similar system in Europe, our first opportunity being in Poland. We were looking for a simple system, with one card, easy access to data, reports of office occupancy levels, and integration with a video surveillance solution in case of a security breach. As a security company, this is of utmost importance to us.

“In addition,” Zolfanelli continues, “we wanted a cloud-based system, which makes it easier to actually manage everything. The service delivery was done on time and as requested and response times and service quality have been excellent.”

One of Irdeto’s needs was integration with a building entrance system to use one card for office and building entrances. Another requirement was to view recordings from incidents, like wrong card usage or doors left open too long. Brivo and Eagle Eye easily address both of these needs.

Irdeto is a leader in cybersecurity, therefore close cooperation with IT was needed from the beginning of the project. All cameras and controllers are network devices with unique media access control (MAC) addresses and internet protocols (IPs). Remote management of these devices speed up the whole process of running the system.Installation was done by ITM Poland https://itmpoland.pl/, Polish security integrator and monitoring service provider, certified in Brivo and EEN solutions. Equipment was delivered by Smart-I https://smart-i.pl/, Polish security distributor that specializes in cloud-based solutions.
