With the acquisition of the Indian company Uncanny Vision, Eagle Eye Networks significantly expands the capabilities of the cloud platform. Artificial intelligence (AI) developed in India will be available to customers worldwide. These are applications for security and business analytics.

Eagle Eye Networks has been working with the 60-person Uncanny Vision since 2020. The Bangalore-based company will continue to exist and become a branch of the US company. The acquisition is part of a plan launched in 2020 to use money from investor Accel to acquire companies that could help Eagle Eye Networks revolutionize video surveillance, CEO Dean Drako said. Uncanny Vision’s deep learning algorithms enable recognition, identification, and prediction, improving operations, customer service and site security.

Applications
Applications include smart parking, in-store analytics, access management, automated toll roads, smart cities, ATM monitoring, perimeter security, and worker safety. Uncanny Vision co-founders Ranjith Parakkal and Navaneethan Sundaramoorthy have joined the Eagle Eye Networks management team. The American company, which is also active in the Benelux, offers camera surveillance in the cloud. With simple on-site facilities, the most complex camera systems can be designed. In this way, companies can acquire advanced technology without high investments, which is paid on a subscription basis.
