Canadian Auto Parts Distributor Updates VMS Across 15 Locations

March 19, 2025 Eagle Eye Networks

When Transbec upgraded its video management system with Eagle Eye Networks, it improved operational oversight and security management.

Transbec, a Canadian auto parts distributor with 15 warehouses, has adopted Eagle Eye Networks’ Cloud VMS which allows the company to centrally manage its surveillance cameras across all of its locations.

Transbec is now using the new VMS, which allows video searches by timeframe and cloud-based clip saving. The integration was managed by Montreal-based MSP Corp.

With the Eagle Eye system, cameras are tagged by function (e.g. “door”) for quick searches. Transbec uses bilingual tags in English and French, enabling access for all team members. Offline camera notifications enable timely fixes, reducing security gaps from hardware failures and upgraded CMVR units extend video retention up to six months, supporting long-term investigations.
