Bidirectional Access Control & Video Surveillance Integration Yields Best-of-Breed Cloud Solution

EE WingsBETHESDA, MD and AUSTIN, TX, April 14, 2015 — Brivo Systems LLC, the leader in cloud access control, and Eagle Eye Networks, the leader in cloud video surveillance, today announced a strategic alliance to integrate Brivo OnAir™ and the Eagle Eye Security Camera VMS delivering customers a unified cloud-based access control and video surveillance system.

The integration will be released in Q3 2015. This quick implementation is made possible because each company’s open RestFUL API accelerates the comprehensive integration. The bidirectional integration will deliver full integration of Eagle Eye’s live and recorded video streams with Brivo’s door event activities in both systems.

The two-way integration of these best-in-class cloud solutions will allow customers to implement a full cloud solution for video and access control.

  • Video verification of door event alerts: The Eagle Eye Security Camera VMS’s live and recorded video streams will be natively viewable and searchable within Brivo OnAir’s access control system.
  • Door event visibility: Brivo OnAir door event activities will natively appear within the Eagle Eye Security Camera VMS video viewer.

“Partnering with Eagle Eye Networks to integrate both companies’ best-in-class cloud solutions was a natural fit,” said Steve Van Till, president & CEO, Brivo Systems.  “Eagle Eye Networks video management system’s secure remote access and camera flexibility is a real winner for our customers.”

“Brivo has the industry’s preeminent cloud-based access control system,” said Dean Drako, president & CEO of Eagle Eye Networks.  “Their cloud architecture and open API approach give customers a truly superior advantage over traditional systems.”

The combined solutions will offer multi-location hosted services that provide flexible cloud storage, along with notifications, analytics support and the ability to integrate IP-enabled or legacy analog cameras.

Customers and integrators will be able to access and manage their information using either the Eagle Eye Video API or the Brivo API, making integration into existing monitoring systems easy and fast.
