IHOP is an American multinational restaurant chain well-known for their breakfast menu. Hoping to increase efficiency and productivity, IHOP was looking to upgrade the video surveillance system at nine of their franchise restaurants. These restaurants previously used a traditional DVR for video surveillance, and the franchise owner wasn’t able to access the footage unless he was viewing it on-location.
IHOP op chose Eagle Eye Networks because of the extensive camera compatibility and Cloud management features. With the Eagle Eye Security Camera VMS, the restaurants were able to upgrade away from their DVR, while still using their existing analog cameras. The franchise owner can also access the footage from his cell phone, viewing multiple restaurants at the same time.
Eagle Eye Networks has helped IHOP manage these locations by saving the franchise owner time, for he’s not constantly traveling across the city. The franchise owner is able to check on employees from anywhere, making sure they’re on-time and in uniform, seating customers and serving them in a timely manner. If a restaurant appears to be overwhelmed, the franchise owner easily knows how and where to allocate their resources.
