Santa Claus and Eagle Eye Networks, the global leader in cloud video surveillance, announced today that Santa and his elves have adopted Eagle Eye’s new Naughty or Nice video surveillance and analytics system. Santa and his elves reported that the global cloud system matched their traditional manual tracking system at 100 percent accuracy, but did it in hours versus the 24/7/365 it took before ‒ allowing Santa’s elves to focus more time on making toys and spending time with their families.
“This is a game changer,” said Santa’s Chief Behavioral Analytics Elf, Eleanor. “We’re able to analyze the behavior of every child in the world in real time, use alerts to jump quickly to questionable behavior, and with the “talk down” feature, we were able to save thousands of kids from taking an action that would have put them on the naughty list. With COVID travel restrictions, our behavioral analysis team was able to watch the kids anytime, anywhere from their mobile device, tablet, or desktop. It saved us time and money that will be spent helping make Christmas 2020 the best ever.”
It is also expected that the new system will eliminate the stress on parents trying to determine where to put the darn Elf on a Shelf.
The system was jointly developed by Eagle Eye Networks outstanding engineering team and Santa’s Global Advanced Technology Lab, which is best known for their technology that allows Santa to visit every home in the world in 24 hours.
Future features are expected to include a predictive analytics function, which will allow Santa and his elves to alert parents and guardians of a potential behavioral issue so they can intervene prior to the child’s negative action. This feature is expected to help keep kids safer and more secure while providing parents and elves the intelligence needed to match the right gifts to the right child. The company and Santa are also partnering with Brivo, the world’s leader in physical access control to help Santa’s elves better monitor and control chimney access and reporting on a global scale.
“The Eagle Eye Open API allows us to integrate with the magic that comes from Santa’s knowledge, intuition, and years of experience to better predict behavior and prevent a child from being moved from the nice side of the list to the naughty one,” added Chief Elf Eleanor. “It is an exciting time. We join the Eagle Eye team in wishing everyone a safe, secure, and happy holiday season and wonderful New Year.”
