Eagle Eye Networks, supplier of cloud video security, has released an API with which the software can easily be connected to alarm centers.

The first alarm center that Eagle Eye Networks has linked to the alarm center is SMC AlarmCentrale. “Video services are a good addition to our emergency center services,” explains André Cools, director of SMC. “For example, alarms can be verified quickly, which makes a quick and efficient police deployment possible.

Moreover, it ensures more safety for the customer. Thanks to the collaboration with Eagle Eye Networks, we can now also provide video services via the cloud. This is an important step towards the future, “says Cools.

Eagle Eye Networks is pleased that alarm centers are able to connect with partners even faster with the Eagle Eye Video APIs , says Rishi Lodhia, Managing Director of Eagle Eye Networks in Europe. “I am confident that more emergency centers will follow as our platform makes it easy to watch live, play, record incidents and enable PTZ.”

The Eagle Eye Cloud VMS works with more than 2,000 types of cameras, both analog, IP and even TVI. Customers can often work with existing cameras, which minimizes the investment required for new cameras. All Eagle Eye products are cloud-based so that no software needs to be installed or updated. Even resetting cameras is possible remotely, limiting a physical visit to the customer to reset a camera.
