Eagle Eye Networks introduced its AI-powered gun detection solution at a live press conference in Austin, Texas, where CEO Dean Drako and industry leaders showcased its real-time firearm identification and alerting capabilities.
AUSTIN, Texas – A group of security stakeholders including campus security end-users, law enforcement officials and others convened for a press conference on Friday for the official unveiling of Eagle Eye Gun Detection, a sophisticated, AI-powered video analytic integrated into the Eagle Eye security platform and designed to work with existing video surveillance infrastructure.
“We are on a mission at Eagle Eye to change the way security cameras are used – to change them into a proactive solution so that we can respond to problems in real time,” Eagle Eye founder and CEO Dean Drako said at the press conference. “In an active shooter situation, every second counts.”
