This WLBT-TV report shows how an Eagle Eye Anywhere Cabinet system is helping local authorities reduce crime and stop illegal dumping.
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – One Hinds County supervisor has heard from the people in the district and toured locations of concern, showcasing the results of recent actions. Cameras in West Jackson in District Three are making a difference when it comes to illegal dumping and crime.
“We want Hinds County to have the same respect that any other county has because we pay the highest taxes in America,” said District 3 Supervisor Deborah Butler Dixon.
The county representative said that it starts with monitoring problem areas and installing cameras like this one on Veterans Boulevard and Linbergh Drive. Before they were installed, criminals dumped all along Linbergh. Now that has stopped.
