Overview:

Eagle Eye Networks is seeking an additional Product Manager. The product manager’s role in Eagle Eye Networks is to work closely with the Director of Product Management to execute additions and improvements to the company’s platforms, products and services. The product manager contributes to the overall company’s product road-map and leads the commercialization of specific features, service and product enhancements.

Eagle Eye Networks is growing rapidly and the Product role is also expected to grow and expand its contribution to the overall platform, department and company. This is a high-growth role.

Eagle Eye Networks is a cloud-based video management company. The Eagle Eye Security Camera VMS has been purpose-built for the cloud and provides unsurpassed security, redundancy and reliability while allowing partners and customers the use of a wide variety of IP and analog cameras. Eagle Eye’s cloud is ideal for end-users and resellers requiring single sign-on access to live, recorded or event-based video across multiple locations. The Eagle Eye VMS has strong APIs for the secure integration of third-party systems.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Coach short-term product feature additions
    • Secure impactful customer feedback
    • Identify market opportunities for new features and/or products
    • Review GUI updates for new features relative to the overall user experience
  • Contribute to long-term platform strategy, roadmap and ticketing
    • Collaborate with Director of Product Management, Sales and Support 
    • Oversee Jira Ticketing inputs to Engineering Team sprints
    • Report on project status
  • Execute new feature launches
    • Ensure sales-readiness across global regions
    • Contribute to help file documentation and user manuals
    • Demonstrate the product and evangelize
  • Develop deep technical knowledge about our products and capabilities, our competitor’s products and services, and the competitive landscape in general.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from product management, marketing, sales, sales engineering, customer success and the management team on a regular basis.
  • Engage with product management, sales teams, and customers to thoroughly understand our target audience, their pain points, and our unique value proposition.
  • Conduct win/loss interviews with customers and deliver internal presentations on key findings.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Moderate to high level of detail orientation is required.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills or the willingness to improve said skills required.
  • Ability to receive feedback and engage in continuous self-improvement required.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly-changing work environment required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in the technology industry desired.
  • Experience working with agile methodology or interest in learning is desired.
