December 4, 2014 – Eagle Eye Networks, Inc. today announced the immediate availability of Eagle Eye Bridges 303 and 403, which include eight integrated Power over Ethernet (POE) ports. The Bridges are used by the Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera Video Management System to connect digital IP cameras to the cloud data center.

The Power over Ethernet ports reduce equipment cost by delivering data and electrical power over a single cable. Because the POE ports are integrated into the bridge, there is one less piece of equipment to install, configure and manage.

“The Eagle Eye Bridge 303 has integrated POE ports, making installation simple and fast as there wasn’t an additional switch to purchase or worry about,” said Jose Pinero, Owner, Coffee Beanery, Lakeline Mall. “Eagle Eye Networks’ cloud video surveillance system is so much higher quality and easier to work with than our prior cloud system that I use it more often. I am already seeing results in improved customer service.

Pinero continued, “Finally, with all the headlines on data breaches at retail stores, it is especially comforting to know that the Eagle Eye founder and CEO Dean Drako was Barracuda Networks founder and former CEO. Because the Eagle Eye cloud VMS is hosted, they take care of maintaining a “cyber-secure” environment for their system.

To read Coffee Beanery’s case study on the Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS, please visit Eagle Eye Bridge 303 with integrated POE Case Study by Coffee Beanery.

“We are continuing to advance Eagle Eye Networks technology to make installation and support as efficient as possible,” said Dean Drako, President and CEO of Eagle Eye Networks. “By offering integrated POE ports in these new Bridge models, we remove one more installation step and ensure an even more reliable system.”

Bridge Model #

Eagle Eye Bridge 303
Eagle Eye Bridge 403

IP Cameras

15
30

POE Camera Ports

8
8

About Eagle Eye Bridges

Eagle Eye Bridges connect digital and analog cameras to Eagle Eye’s cloud data center, as part of the cloud-managed Eagle Eye Security Camera VMS.
