To maximise the levels of protection and mitigate security and safety concerns, educational institutions have long used video surveillance systems to monitor and record activity in and around their premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, however, there are many schools, colleges and universities that have surveillance systems based on traditional analogue, on-premises CCTV technologies. While these systems have served many educational settings well over the years, as they get older, they often require costly maintenance.
