{"id":133372,"date":"2021-12-09T10:27:59","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T15:27:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.een.com\/?p=133372"},"modified":"2022-03-25T13:24:20","modified_gmt":"2022-03-25T18:24:20","slug":"ssn-exclusive-interview-eagle-eye-networks-president-ken-francis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.een.com\/it\/blog\/ssn-exclusive-interview-eagle-eye-networks-president-ken-francis\/","title":{"rendered":"SSN Exclusive Interview: Eagle Eye Networks President Ken Francis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>CLOUD VIDEO SURVEILLANCE EXPANDING IN THE U.S. AND AROUND THE WORLD, WITH COVID CITED AS A MAJOR FACTOR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AUSTIN, Texas\u2014 Eagle Eye Networks continues to build its momentum as a global cloud video surveillance leader heading into 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September, the company announced the acquisition of artificial intelligence (AI) innovator Uncanny Vision, including the company\u2019s research and development capabilities and a new regional office in Bangalore, India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal, only the second acquisition in company history, accelerated Eagle Eye\u2019s plan, announced in November 2020 (when Eagle Eye raised funds from venture capital firm Accel) to dramatically reshape video surveillance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is this continued growth that had Eagle Eye Networks Founder and CEO Dean Drako forecast an approximate 85 percent growth rate in 2021 &#8211; similar to what the company had in 2020 &#8211; when he spoke to Security Systems News about the Uncanny Vision acquisition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In November, it was announced that Eagle Eye Networks ranked No. 307 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.deloitte.com\/us\/en\/pages\/technology-media-and-telecommunications\/topics\/north-america-technology-fast-500.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deloitte Technology Fast 500<\/a>, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.securitysystemsnews.com\/article\/ssn-exclusive-eagle-eye-networks-president-ken-francis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Read the full article<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In the News<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Covered on these news sites.
