Compared to the conventional NVR architecture, cloud is far more scalable, flexible and cost-effective. This article argues that end user should definitely consider, if not outright begin on, moving their video surveillance to the cloud.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before we begin, consider the following stats. According to&nbsp;TechJury, 85 percent of businesses worldwide are already making use of cloud technology to store information. Also according to the website, 67 percent of enterprise infrastructure has become cloud-based in 2020, while 94 percent of the Internet workload will be processed in the cloud by 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s clear that end users have migrated a lot of their business operations to the cloud. So, why not security and video surveillance as well? In fact, the numbers show that they are already doing this. According to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.een.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Eagle-Eye-Partner-Presentation.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eagle Eye Network<\/a>, the video surveillance-as-a-service (VSaaS) market has reached US$1.8 billion by 2020 and is expected to grow at an 18 percent CAGR through 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.asmag.com\/showpost\/32267.aspx?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Read the full article<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>In the News<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Covered on these news sites.
