Cloud video pioneer Eagle Eye Networks has expanded the developer programme it runs to help integrators and customers integrate video into a variety of applications using its cloud video API.
The programme gives participating developers their own Eagle Eye Video API account, together with discounted equipment that connects compatible security cameras to the Eagle Eye cloud video surveillance platform. They also gain access to sample code, training, phone support and system design assistance.
The Eagle Eye Cloud Video Application Programming Interface (API) comprises tools with which developers can build or integrate applications – both simple and complex – with both live and recorded video captured by surveillance cameras. Visualization and analysis applications might, for instance, focus on point-of-sale, customer service or video alerts on employee training – but Eagle Eye Networks says the API’s versatility makes the potential range far wider.
