AUSTIN, Texas – A group of security stakeholders including campus security end-users, law enforcement officials and others convened for a press conference on Friday for the official unveiling of Eagle Eye Gun Detection, a sophisticated, AI-powered video analytic integrated into the Eagle Eye security platform and designed to work with existing video surveillance infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are on a mission at Eagle Eye to change the way security cameras are used – to change them into a proactive solution so that we can respond to problems in real time,\u201d Eagle Eye founder and CEO Dean Drako said at the press conference. \u201cIn an active shooter situation, every second counts.\u201d
