Eagle Eye Networks Launches Eagle Eye Cloud Managed Video Recorders 225 and 325

Eagle Eye Cloud Managed Video Recorders (CMVR) 225 and 325 include four managed PoE ports, have a wide operational temperature range and store video both locally and in the cloud.

AUSTIN, Texas, March 12, 2018 – Eagle Eye Networks, Inc. today announced the immediate availability of the Eagle Eye CMVRs 225 & 325 which were designed for demanding industrial applications, hostile IT environments, and support a wide operational temperature range.

Eagle Eye CMVRs provide both local and cloud video storage. Customers may select any combination of subscriptions on a camera by camera basis. Eagle Eye CMVRs automatically transmit camera and system status information to the Eagle Eye Cloud. CMVRs are used when there is not enough bandwidth to send all of the video to the cloud, or there is a policy or regulatory requirement for on-premise video storage. Eagle Eye offers a variety of CMVRs, supporting anywhere from 6 to 180 cameras.

The Eagle Eye CMVR 225 & 325 features:

  • 4 integrated PoE ports for simplified and more reliable wiring
  • Ruggedized aluminum enclosure
  • Fanless for high reliability and low noise
  • Available with a solid state drive (SSD) for adverse environments
  • Supports a total of 6 or 12 HD IP cameras with an additional Ethernet switch
  • Operational temperature range of 0 – 35 degrees C (32 – 95 degrees F)

The 225 and 325 are fully managed from the Eagle Eye Security Camera Video Management System (VMS) – the industry leading cloud-based solution for video surveillance. The VMS provides unlimited cloud video recording, and the video retention period can be configured on a camera-by-camera basis at any time to accommodate changing business needs. These CMVRs offer superior bandwidth management and both on-premise and cloud storage.

The Eagle Eye CMVRs 225 and 325 include four PoE ports are compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards, and support up to 12 IP cameras with the addition of an Ethernet switch.
