Quick Serve Restaurants with limited bandwidth improve operations, security, and manageability using Eagle Eye Cloud Managed Video Recorders (CMVR’s).

Austin, TX December 11, 2017.  Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) operators, such as KFC, Taco Bell and Domino’s Pizza, are improving their security and business operations using Eagle Eye Cloud Managed Video Recorders (CMVRs) connected to the Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS. The Eagle Eye CMVRs provide QSR operators the ability to remotely strengthen their loss prevention and business management even at locations with limited Internet bandwidth.

The Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS utilizes an on-site appliance, either an Eagle Eye Bridge or an Eagle Eye CMVR. The Eagle Eye Bridges transfer the video to the cloud, while Eagle Eye CMVRs provide both on-premise and cloud video storage. The CMVRs provide Eagle Eye Cloud-Premise Flex Storage which allows the QSR operator to keep video in the cloud, on-premise, or both. Regardless of where the video is stored, camera and system status information is continuously transmitted to the Eagle Eye Cloud Data Center, providing real time monitoring and alerts.

“As a multi-unit Domino’s Pizza operator, it’s extremely important to have my eyes and ears at every location,” stated Brent Medders, owner of 26 Domino’s Pizza franchise locations. “I have Eagle Eye Bridges installed at most locations, but I am utilizing Eagle Eye CMVRs for the locations where I have limited bandwidth. It’s powerful to view all of my stores on the same screen regardless of bandwidth availability.”

For most QSR operators, video surveillance is already a key part of ensuring security and improving operations. They rely on video to identify theft and fraud and as a means of capturing evidence in HR and legal incidents. Many QSR operators have been hampered by their outdated surveillance systems and concerned about deployment of a cloud solution because of Internet bandwidth concerns. With the Eagle Eye CMVR, QSR operators can customize storage settings to keep all video local, send only low resolution video to the Eagle Eye Cloud Data Center, or send all video to the Eagle Eye Cloud Data Center at night.

“Eagle Eye allows me to view all of my locations from my phone or iPad,” stated Rob Rianna, Franchise Owner of 8 KFC locations. “What’s especially useful is the ‘tagging’ feature, which allows me to view my cash registers from all restaurant locations on one screen. With Eagle Eye, I have tremendous visibility into my business and have been able to improve operations as a result.”

Ideal applications for Eagle Eye CMVRs:

  1. Locations with high camera counts
  2. Regulatory requirements that include on-premise video storage
  3. Locations with limited bandwidth

The Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS, including the Eagle Eye CMVR, work seamlessly with existing cameras, including standard analog and IP cameras. In addition, the solution features an easy-to-use Mobile App that can be accessed anywhere via any iOS or Android device, enabling business owners to watch live and recorded video with audio streams across large numbers of cameras in multiple locations.

Eagle Eye offers a variety of CMVRs, supporting anywhere from 6 to 180 cameras. To learn more about Eagle Eye Networks, visit www.een.com or contact +1-512-473-0500 or +316 46 27 32 51.
