Allows faster integration of ONVIF-conformant cameras with VMS

EE WingsAUSTIN, Texas. August 19, 2015 – Eagle Eye Networks, Inc. today announced that its Eagle Eye Security Camera Video Management System (VMS) bridges and CMVRs are now listed officially as ONVIF Profile S clients. This official listing is achieved as a result of multiple support tests which confirmed conformance with the ONVIF standard.

Eagle Eye Networks’ VMS supports a broad array of IP and analog cameras, in contrast with typical cloud video surveillance systems that can lock you into a single camera supplier.

“Eagle Eye Networks’ goal has always been to allow its customers the maximum flexibility in selecting surveillance cameras that best suits their needs,” said Dean Drako, President and CEO of Eagle Eye Networks. “This formal listing confirms our broad support of cameras.”

ONVIF is a non-profit organization, founded in 2008 to facilitate a global open standard for physical IP-based security products’ communication interfaces with video surveillance and other physical security systems. The goal of the ONVIF specification is to achieve interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer.
